To better assist you in learning more about how The Nurse Speak can help you in developing strategies for NCLEX© success, here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions (FAQs):

Question: How are the one-to-one NCLEX© Prep sessions conducted?

Answer: All one-to-one tutoring is available online via Skype. You’ll simply need either a smart phone with front facing camera, and high-speed data/internet, or a computer with a webcam and microphone. If you will be in a noisy environment, we recommend that you use a headset with a microphone built into it for optimal audio. All online sessions will take place in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

Question: How many NCLEX© Prep sessions are recommended/required?

Answer: A minimum of Two (3 hour) NCLEX© Prep sessions are required for clients to gain access and exposure to all of the NCLEX© strategies provided, including an individualized study plan for NCLEX© success.

Only one 3-hour-session can be booked at a time – as research shows that studying for more than 3 hours straight reduces the learner’s ability to retain, apply and analyze the information being provided. Damion recommends each 3-hour-session to be scheduled approximately one week apart. This provides his clients with the ability to absorb, organize and begin applying the strategies covered during practice questions and homework provided.

For repeat test-takers, we recommend a minimum of Four (3 hour) sessions for optimal results. During the third and fourth sessions, Damion will assess your ability to correctly apply the strategies learned during the first two sessions and you’ll be provided with individualized guidance to help you improve your practice test scores, manage your test-anxiety and build your self-confidence in accurately answering NCLEX© questions.

Question: How do I pay for tutoring sessions?

Answer: All sessions can be booked and paid for online via PayPal at time of booking. All sessions must be booked and paid for at least 12 hours in advance to scheduled sessions.

We understand that money can be tight for many nursing students and new graduate nurses – so we’ve made it easier for you to get the expert help you deserve by allowing payments to be made for each 3-hour-session individually. Although we require a minimum of two 3-hour-sessions to gain access to all of the NCLEX© strategies and expert insight, sessions are typically scheduled one week apart. This option has proven to be helpful to many of our clients and we hope it is helpful for you as well! The only exception would include promotional or discounted rates – which are listed below.

Question: Do you offer discounts for group NCLEX© tutoring sessions?

Answer: YES! Damion has provided online tutoring via Skype to audiences as large as 15 individuals! This is a great way to save some money, and get additional support by sharing the tutoring sessions and the strategies learned among classmates and peers to enhance ongoing studying which is guaranteed to improve your NCLEX© practice test accuracy.

Group session discounts are as follows:

2-4 participants: $150 per person/per session. ($30 discount)
5-9 participants $135 per person/per session. ($45 discount)
10-15 participants $125 per person/per session. ($55 discount)

Question: Is there a cancellation/refund policy for booked sessions?

Answer: Yes! In order to receive a full refund for booked sessions, you must cancel your appointment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session by emailing Damion.Jenkins@thenursespeak.com and providing details for why you need to cancel.

For events out of our own control such as – illness, accidents, family emergencies, internet outages, etc., refunds may be issued for cancellations that happen within 24 hours – considering that you’ve provided reasonable and professional communication of such need for cancellation.

Otherwise, all other reasons for missed appointments or cancellations inside of the 24 hour cancellation window will not receive a refund due to scheduling conflicts.
